Wecam not supporting

i have one creative webcam and my pc is microsoft xp professional.i connected this web cam through usb ,but it is not regonising the system and it shows that my system doesn't have that hardware .can u please solve my problem

Did it come with a CD? You may need to install a program to run it. I know it sounds like a dumb question, but also check the Creative Labs website.
