Internet connection

i have just installed vista 64bit a week ago. while web surfing, from time to time a web page comes up with a dialog box saying no connection with a connect box window. my puter says i am connected but no web pages comes up with out the connect box. i never had this problem with win xp or viasta 32 bit. what can i do to solve this? i tried reinstalling network connection. i have my ip setup disc but dont want all their junk installed.

1. Are you using a router or usb modem?

2. Its computer not puter

Check in your internet options|connections and make sure that the top box has nothing in it and the never dial a connection is greyed out.
Sometimes it gets confused.
