Well, very basic question I guess.

I'm trying to fix up a couple of things on a computer at home that comes from Dell. I'd like to enter the bios to change something but I cannot seem to be able to access it.

Whenever I boot (or reboot) the computer, Windows XP comes up so quickly, like within 5 seconds??? I never get a bios/dos screen to press DEL. I obviously tried multi pressing DEL within the 5 seconds but nope, nothing!

How do I access bios on a Dell PC?

Did you try F1, F2, F3 or F12? It should be one of those.

You can turn off the logo once you get into the BIOS setup... or if you want to see what's going on during POST you can also press TAB to make the logo go away. Although even with the logo on, you should see somewhere on the screen F2=Setup... it'll will be in either the top or bottom right-hand corner.
