I am trying to install a Lexicon MX300. It shows up in device manager under "USB controllers" instead of "Sound,video,game controllers" where it is supposed to be. Lexicon tech support threw up their hands at this point. Is there a way to remedy this?

Windows xp, service pack 3.

Did it come with a driver disc?

I got it. I brought it to work and installed it on y work computer. I then realized I had used a different usb cable, took it back home and tried it again with another cable. It worked.
