In windows xp pro I had a drive fail. I originally had two drives that were mirroring each other. I now want to install a new drive to replace the failed Drive. Xp does not rcognize the new drive nor can I get the intact drive to rebuild to new drive!! This is totally new territory for me so be easy on me for being sooo ignorant about how it is done. Thanks for your help,

You've left out a lot of important info. How are you doing it? I understand that it's RAID 1, but how did you do set it up initially? Do you have a RAID controller and if so, which one?

Another question to ask is what is the model number of the existing drive and the new drive.
