The last 3 games I have installed, The Witcher, Lord of the Rings Online, and Neverwinter Nights 2, have installed OK, but they never installed a desktop icon or put any entries into Start/All Programs. Do I have some sort of configuration of Vista set up wrong? Is there somewhere where I have misconfigured this? I went ahead and installed a little utility just now and it installed OK with a desktop icon and Start/All Programs entry, but the big programs seem to be having a problem. Does anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks for the help.

find the exe files in program files/x86 then right click then send to desktop create shortcut. No i'd guess you didnt do anything wrong, the same thing happens when installing Fallout 3.
