Dear Anyone.

I've had to reformat my hard drive because it had a few zillion too many viruses on it! Installed my LEGIT Windows, no problem. Tried installing SP2, which I've never had any problem doing before, and it unpacked but it wouldn't install. By which, I mean you could see it opening all its files to a temp folder, but after it had finished doing that the install process wouldn't begin.

So I downloaded SP2 from the Microsoft website (my version's on a CD) and exactly the same thing happened. Unpacked fine, then wouldn't start installing.

I've never seen that one before - anyone got any ideas?
