Thanks for checking this out.
I just OC'd my 6320 on a DS3 (rev 3.3), thermalright u-120 ext (w/ fan and using ceramique), 2gb Corsair 6400c4 ram (at 4-4-4-12, 2.1v), 7950gt, all in an Antec Solo w/ 2 92mm intake fans and one 120mm exhaust.
I installed orthos, TAT, coretemp, cpuz.
Presently, I'm OC'd to 2786mhz (2.78ghz) and my TAT temps at idle are as follows:
core0 = 36-38, core1 = 36-37
After running Orthos for 10 minutes, TAT temps are:
core0 = 48-50, core1 = 47
And while running Orthos and TAT 100% for 45 minutes at the same time, my temps are:
core0 = 56, core1 = 53
The CoreTemp readings pretty much mirror the TAT readings to w/in a degree or two. Overall, I think those temps are in the high end of the acceptable range.
But since the temps seem like they're at the top of the acceptable range, I don't feel safe or comfortable pushing it any further, even though, in theory and based on what I've seen, I should be able to (but for these high temps). Anyways, are the temps safe? Any ideas how I might lower them? Any ideas, comments, suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
