I have been waiting for the last 4 months to build my new system and with the awesome price drops I wents from a AMD 4600+ to this:

E6600
Gigabyte 965P-DS3
2x1GB of RAM
CoolerMaster 550W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171016

The rest is basically what’s in my signature. At xmas I will be upgrading to add another HDD 250-350GB+- and a new DX10 card probably something like a HD2600xt or if God is good to me a 8800GTX or equivalent.

I was going to wait a bit more but two different pieces of news made me change my mind:
1.Ram prices may be going up again
http://www.techpowerup.com/?32348
2.A store is selling OCZ RAM at a lower price than my Ram of choice.

So here are my two questions:
1. I was going to buy Kingston value RAM DDR2 800 CL 5-5-5-15 Model: KVR800D2N5/1G http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134114
but then I found this: OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Platinum Revision 2 CL 4-4-4-15 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227140

As stupid as it now looks after I went to newegg the only doubt I have is if the OCZ chips are better, last longer, OC better, etc… because where I live Kingston has up to now kinda been the top notch brand

2. Is my PSU good enough for my xmas upgrade? Because I am pretty sure it is going to be the last on this system.
Btw: I do intend to do modarate to medium Ocing 2,4-->2,66/3,0 max but only after a year or so…

I have already phoned the store and probably will go there before friday.
Regarding the PSU guide, I read it some time ago but them totaly forgot about it 8O
Will try to find there something with the caracteristics that i will need that is available here. Pc conponents tend to be realy expensive in Brazil, import taxes and stuf, but I believe it is worth it 8)

Ok, I have bought to OCZ sticks and am very impressed with the looks :p
I will test them next week in a friends computer and compare 3DMark scores.
About the Psu I saw available the Thermaltake Purepower 600W/38A and the Cooler Master i Green Power 500W/32A as there was only a 5$ diference I decided to get the Thermaltake.

Well I guess this is all, so thanks again for the help
