More Information

Hi,

I have some wireless network cameras in a house that gets terrible throughput, I suspect interference.

there seems to be no obvious source, since it is a continuous problem (not due to microwave oven for example).

the same setup works well in a different location (not at this house). so it seems that perhaps interference from something is making the WLAN slow.

802.11G with the following wireless devices:
-D-Link DIR-655 Wireless Router
-Axis 207W cameras (3)
-Panasonic BL-C30 camera (1)
-*HP wireless printer

printer is not being used during the tests with the cameras, but it is still connected to the router as a client.

My question is, if the reason is band interference, how and what can I do to track it down ?

I have been reading about using Wireshark and a Spectrum Analyzer such as Wi-Spy.

Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.
