Where is my start programme, and how do I find out what is starting when I swicth on the computer.?

Click on Start > Run

type in:

msconfig

Under the startup tab will be a list of the startup programs.

There are certain types of startup processes that hide themselves from this list though. Malware and spyware for example. A couple of legitimate windows processes also.
