How good is the quality/sound/channel changing and what kind of tv stations can you watch (MTV, comedy central, ETC)

I just installed one. I had an All-In-Wonder and BOY what a difference. The picture is perfect and the sound is great (I have to say that it depends on your sound card and speakers). I use the onboard sound of my P5B with some small speakers and sounds better then a TV. The FiringSquad did a review and it’s right on.

The All-In-Wonder tuner is Junk compared to the 650. I have had 3 All-In-Wonders and I was always happy with the tuners, but that is before you use a real tuner.

Did You have to jump through any hoops to get Vista to see the 650 as a
TV tuner?
Any problems with the operating system recognizing the 650 TV tuner?

Nope, I had no problems. I Installed the card and then installed the new ATI drivers. Started Vista Media Center and every thing worked great.

I am very happy with the 650.

The bundled Catalyst Media Center is flaky at best (I'll try it on my fresh copy of Vista later on today). The Card itself is beautiful for OTA HDTV. Even on regular run-of-the-mill cable, it definitely comes out well.

How's the Theatre 650 Pro? I've seen samples of the video quality and I'm impressed, and I don't much care about the software. But I've heard about recalls and all sorts of horror stories with the tuner.

eWiz and a few other places have them for suspiciously cheap prices... Is a Sapphire Theatre 650 Pro a bill of goods, or should I get one while they last?
