Daemon.exe cannot run

I will installed a new game, on readme said that first install daemon and then double click daemon.exe to install program, but no reaction when clicking daemon.exe I am using windows XP

why do you need daemon tools for the game?
you have to go download daemon tools from wherever
then install it
then you can run it
it should appear in your tool bar at the bottom on the right
may just be a bad file
try re-downloading it
