Searched the internet loads, But nothing has helped so I'm trying here.

I need to uninstall SP2 to do a repair install of Vista, Although nothing I can find will uninstall it.

Its not listed in the Add/Remove programs, Even though it says it should be (KBKB948465) And also the command prompt method doesn't work. I get upto Method 3-Step 4 and then nothing happens.

Any help?

Your best option to repair is to use a Vista dvd with SP2 (the same version as yours)or create one by slipstreaming SP2 onto it.

while this refers to SP1 and is out of date, the same principles apply.

Boot into safe mode and use the restore points to roll your system back before the SP was downloaded.
