Remote desktop disappearing

I recently had to replace my terminal services server. We used storage craft to image the old system and restore it to another pc. windows 2003 standard server works fine and there have been no other issues. My problem is I can log on as administrator to the TS server via remote desktop and then open a remote desktop from the TS server to a users computer and connect fine. However when the user logs onto the TS server, she gets onto it just fine, but when she opens a remote desktop session on the TS server to her computer, the remote desktop window closes as soon as she clicks on connect. she is a member of Remote Desktops and has used this in the past to connect with no errors.
