EDIT: I found out the problem.
Its been 2 months since I've turned on my comp, I had the AM2 retention bracket break on me and I finally was able to find the part I needed.
So with the new bracket, I've turned on my comp. The mobo keeps beeping, a sort of ambulance type beep. CPU temps are fine and everything is connected I'm sure. I can access the bios and stuff. The only problem I've ever had with this computer was the retention bracket breaking on the motherboard, which is just a plastic piece (I have since replaced it). I have cleared the CMOS at least 5 times by now.
Specs:
Abit NF-M2
AMD Opteron 1212
1GB G.Skill DDR2 800
550 Watt PSU with plenty of amps
NVIDIA GeForce 6600
I am sure this is not a PSU related problem. Is it possible the mobo is beeping because of a fan or something?
