This is my first post so if I am in the wrong area, please move this to the right area.

My wife and I have been seperated and are getting back together. One of the reasons was her addiction to World of Warcraft and games like that. She says she will not play them but I want to make sure.

How can I set up her user account to allow for ZERO software installation?

I know a little about computers but not a ton so if you have a solution, if you could dumb it down a bit that would be great.

I was told that some software can still be loaded from a limited user account.

Thanks for any help you can give.

You can use gpedit to set software restrictions.

Basically you have to disallow all software and then have extra rules for the allowed software.

Make sure you use and administrator account to make these changes

and also set hers to a limited account will help.
There is also ways that you could block the ports WoW uses and also put in dummy dns entries for the websites it uses also.
