Internet Explorer

Every time I try to download a program such as Itune from the Apple web site. I get a diolog box stating "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is availble.
When I click on close then I get another diolog box stating "To help protect your computer, Data Exection Prevention has closed Internet Explorer. Click to learn more. So I clicked to learn more...
I got another dialog box telling the definition of Data Execution Prevention and how to change the settings. So I tried changing the settings and it still does not work. HELP!!!
