I have a D-Link DIR-655 Router and an encore enlwi-n wireless adapter and am using Vista Enterprise 32-bit. I play online games like CSS and 2142 and it really bugs me that I get lag every minute I did some research and found out the windows zero config is causing this, but turning it off in vista shuts off all wireless internet! Had to do a system restore to get it back. I have tried the programs vista anti-lag and wlan optimizer but neither did the trick. Are there any other 3rd party utility or anti-lag programs I can use to stop this? My adapter doesn't have its own utility. Thanks for any responses!
