C2D e6320

Okay i just gotten a C2D e6320. I'm not sure how the heatspreader is suppose to look like. So i need to know whether mine is normal or not? Just refer to the image.

The heatspreader is neatly grooved in at the blue coloured spot. Is that normal?

The processor is still in retail factory sealed box.

Couldn't you kust google "E6320" for images and find something like this:

It's not very clear but it looks like this E6320 heatspreader also has the shape you talk about. They might have slightly changed it on these newer versions because of the frequent problems with the heatsink positioning.

It's normal for it to stick up in the center like that.

Yes, I think it's a design refinement.
