UAC and IE8 Protected Mode

I have the 64 bit version of Vista Home Basic, and I was wondering if it is possible to turn the UAC off without it turning the Protected Mode off in IE8 as well?

Yes is possible. Start, control panel, users account, users account...and activa or deactivate user account control.

Yeah I know how to do that, but that also turns Protected Mode off in Internet Explorer. I have heard of Registry Hacks, and I know in Vista Business, Enterprise, and Ultimate editions there is an option for it, but not for Home Basic or Premium.
