OEM just means that it is usually shipped with a PC like Dell or something (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Original_Equipment_Manufacturer). As long as it has a serial number you can use it. (Assuming it isn't pre-designated to a manufacturer then you can use it - which it won't be)

I have WinXP Pro "OEM" for 4 years never a problem to do any type install...I just built a new gaming rig and it Loaded without a problem, this is at least my 6th Activation.
