Help!!! I Currently have C2D E4300 @ 3ghz, Asus P5N E SLI with a X1950Pro, A friend of mind has offered me 2 x 8600GT (second hand) for £120, I could sell X1950Pro for £70-80 on ebay ,should I take them or stick with the X1950Pro

I'd save your money for now, and when you're ready for a significant upgrade, sell your X1950pro, and with the money you've saved, make your purchase. SLI is only worth it when pairing 2 highend cards.
