After reading the speed test of the Thumb drive vs the 10 year old computer, I am a little hazy on my conundrum. I am trying to decide if I should devote a hard drive to Photoshop's Scratch drive space or a compact flash drive (a fast one). When Photoshop runs out of memory it goes to whatever drive letter I point it to for additional memory usage. Should I purchase a hard drive for this or a compact flash memory chip?
