Hello, I recently got myself HP Proliant DL380 G3 server and I ran into a problem trying to install Windows Server 2003 on it. The server has only a cd rom drive and I cannot seem to find if I can get the thing to boot from USB. The only disk of server that I have is on a dvd thats roughly 733mb, a little bit to big to fit onto a cd. Is there either anyway to shrink the os down or split it into two parts for the install? Thank you.

Wouldn't it be easier to just put a DVD drive in the server?

Sometimes people try to find the most complex solution before the simplest one.
