high temps for t-line *pics*

whats up? i just finished changing my loop from a res to a t-line expecting to get lower temps. before with the res, i was getting 40-44 under load. now with the t-line, i'm getting 40-42 idle! i dont know what i did wrong but i would like some help. if u need any more pics from different angles please ask, thanks for any input.

A T-line isn't going to lower your temps by much if at all. Infact I'm slightly surprised that your temps are any lower with a T-line. The main idea of a T-line is that it's often easier to fill than a res since it leads to the outside of the case and it's cheaper than getting a res.

its pretty hard to tell where exactly some parts are with those pics, but good pics none the less. it looks like you put the T in the wrong part of the loop.

is your pump at the top of the case or is that you resevoir?

HYST3R Makes a good point, you need to make sure your pump is at the lowest point and the T-line as high as possible. Then you should also make sure your rad doesn't have any air in it.

his temps are actually quite higher. those are idle versus full load temps.

my pump is in my lowest 5 1/4" drive slot. if the t-line has to be at the highest point, should i just lower my pump? i put silicone to prevent leaks so i'm kind of stuck :S I'm looking for a good high cfm fan to put on my rad in hopes of controlling my temps. think a blow hole on the top of the case will lower temps too?

think these will drop my temps down to around 35?
