Hi ,

i want to install windows xp professional 64-bit opearating system on my
amd x2 dual core 64 bit cpu.

i am having old dvd combo drive.after booting from dvd my dvd drive is unable to copy the system files from dvd.

so after booting from dvd i want to copy the system files from usb drive in which i am having xp 64 bit copy.

how to solve this problem.....

The easiest and probably the only solution is to get a properly working DVD drive.

Edit: Did you check if a firmware upgrade is available for you DVD drive?
