I have an ECS Elitegroup P4M800PRO-M (V2.0) Motherboard, and I want to upgrade my memory from 512 MB to 2 GB but the problem that I have is that in the ECS Elitegroup website it doesn't say that it supports PC2-5300 (667Mhz) DDR2 DIMM but in the Centon website its listed as compatible memory.
Does my motherboard really supports PC2-5300 (667Mhz) memory?
Would it be very stable in the long run?
What it says in the ECS Elitegroup website about memory is the following:
MEMORY
Single-channel DDR memory architecture
2 x 184-pin DDR DIMM socket support up to 2 GB
2 x 240-pin DDR2 DIMM socket support up to 2 GB
Support DDR400/333 DDR SDRAM or DDR2 533/400 DDR2 SDRAM
