Anyone have a problem like this? Bought the unit in October, worked fine
for a few weeks, then one day I could not get a picture on the screen. I
tried switching between three outputs (DVI, Component, and Composite) and no
picture. Audio is fine, and movies will still play. With the DVI hookup
active, the picture on the screen is frozen digital snow, and with the
analog hookups active, there is just a blank screen.
Yeah, I know, I'm lazy...its been sitting idle for a few months while my
trusty panasonic single-scan is playing my movies.
Any ideas, short of taking it to a repairer or in for warranty issues? I'd
like to try any options before going that route.

You need to go into the DVD menu and re-apply your settings. Also, you need
to be hooked up to component or composite cables as well as DVI to get the
DVI to work right. Change it on the composite cable to DVI and then switch
to the DVI input, but this player (one that I really like by the way) is
known for not remembering it's settings, so hence you have to re-apply them
each time you use it.
