Hi,

I have brought the Toshiba External HDD STORE E 1,5 TB.

They say this is a USB2 system and my computer have USB2 port.
But when I copy something to the Toshiba the speed is about 9 MB/s! Don't must be 48 MB/s? (480 Mbits/s the usb2 standart).
What is the problem? How I confirm the port speed?

I have Vista with SP2 and a laptop ACER Apire 5101 AWLMi (AMD Turion 64).

The Toshiba is formated in NTFS.
