Reloded vista now my fsx will not start. when I boot it up it changes the screen resolution and wants me to change to the correct resolution. When I change it the shuts doen fsx?

Try to rename your fsx.cfg to fsxold.cfg.
When fsx loads it will rewrite the file and may solve your problem.
