Mozilla Firefox not allowing website auto-redirects

I have a problem with my firefox where it doesn't seem to allow a website to redirect. For example, if you have ever used 4chan, after making a post, it should go to a page that says Post Successful, and then redirect back to the board. However, my firefox just sits at the Post Successful page. If anyone knows of how I might be able to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.
