Hello All

My name is Michael am having a major problem with my computer and i am really starting to get frustrated with now so i really really need some help if any of you can, thanks in advance.

Right this is my story.

I have a HP Compaq Presario s7000 series, and it is about 2 years old if that. it has 2gb of Ram, 300gb HD, Intel Duel Core Processor and a NVIDIA graphics card.

1.) My monitor began losing signal randomly but the computer was still on so i swapped the monitor/cables and it still kept doing it. So i opened the computer up and the fan on the graphics card was full of dust so i cleaned the dust out of it and for 5 days the monitor didnt lose signal. Then it started again so i decided to take the graphics card out because my guess was it is overheating maybe because the fan isnt spinning on the graphics card. Instead of buying a new NVIDIA graphics card i plugged my monitor into the onboard VGA slot. This then booted into windows but the Video Driver was unknown, so i searched for the onboard driver and found out it was ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M i downloaded it and it all installed and the display went back to the way it was. So i thought problem solved.

2.) After 2 days of working fine i am now continously getting a BSOD saying "A Problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer" and half way down the message its says about Win32k.sys.

3.) I then decided to Format the HDD and Re-Install XP this all went through fine but then after a few hours it blue screened again :( with the same error message.

Does anyone have any ideas???? am thinking maybe ive got the wrong onboard video driver or something to do with me taking the NVIDIA card out.

Thanks For Any Help.
