Hey all, i uninstalled adobe yesterday and after restarting my computer i get to a black screen saying that <windows root>\system32\hal.dll is missing or corrupt (along those lines) I am trying to find a method to fix it, some are using the recovery console and enter bootcfg /list for boot entries, if none show you have to enter bootcfg/ rebuild when i do the latter it comes up with 2 entries, and shows D:\windows which i do not think is the main drive, i am sure it is C:\windows that is my main one. This is the forum i have been looking at, there are so many different methods, as everyone else says i do not want to lose any data, so what is the best way? http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/win [...] html&st=15

Please help any way you can.

Darren
