F_panel power switch pin problems.

Hello,
I have a new build and everything works great, but my computer will not turn off, go into sleep mode ect. the only way to turn it off is to turn off the psu its self. my computer will turn off if i remove the power switch pin on the mobo. reversing it does not help. i am very lost in this problem.

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

Take the connectors off the board and carefully use a small screwdriver to short the pins until the find the two that turn the system on. Connect the PwrSw connector to those two then find the reset pair using the same method then the HDD and PWR LEDs can go on last. I have come acrooss motherboards where the relevant pins are beside each other horizontally instead of opposite vertically.
