I have a Dell Laptop. The desktop shows only the wallpaper. Cannot right click to "show icons". When I Ctrl+Alt+Del to get the task manager it starts but when I try to start any new task I get "This file does not have a program accociated with it for proforming this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel.ERROR
it happens with explorer.exe,regedit.exe,notepad.exe basicly anything i put in gets the same error.
I have already tried chkdsk /r from windows recovery and it did not help.
What else can I try before a reinstall of windows
