My new gaming pc has no sound playing dvds

I just built a gaming pc,when i play dvds with the media player i have no sound,there is no problem with the sound playing music or games i have vista business installed,and a... EP-45-UD3L-GIGABYTE MOTHERBOARD,e7600 3.06ghz duo core cpu and ati radeon 4770 graphics card,im not sure how to fix the problem,any help is much appreciated,thanks

google it youll find one try the klite codec pack for a start!

Check out Videolan videoplayer to see if you get sound. sometimes the codecs at microsoft for WMP is expensive
