Analog video cassete players had a jog shuttle allowing you to
play the video in slow motion or fast forward or evern reverse the motion
backwards.....

does anyone know of a video (media) player that can do this?

I dont mind if its shareware...

If it's for a DVD movie you're playing then PowerDVD has such a feature. If
it's something like Media Player....for just normal video off the web, I
don't know....
