Hi All!

I've been looking for a small drawing package for the IPAQ that would
allow me to draw CAD-esque drawings. All I need is the ability to draw
lines of a certain length (Real World measurements) and have VERY
basic CAD functions like copy line, move line , extend , snap to
points etc.

I've found a couple of CAD programs for the IPAQ and they're pretty
good but overkill for what I'm needing (and they're also too darned
expensive for my needs). All the other graphics packages I've found
tend to be bitmap sketching packages, which although usefull do not
fulfil my requirements.

All I'm looking for is an app that would allow my colleques to go to a
site and do a quick survey sketch of an installation which can later
be turned into a proper autocad file.. ANyone know if such a beast
exists? Or do I have to make do with something lesser or bite the
bullet and spend the $300 ish per copy for pocketCAD and the likes??

All advice , suggestions greatly appreciated.

Nope.. 'Fraid not. But as I said in my post I'm not looking for a Full
blown cad program , only a graphics program that'll allow me to do
accurate line drawings.. Possibly with the addition of some cad style
"Snap-to" commands but not 100% required.

I have seen cad drawing packages for Pocket PC. They are actually not
bad , all things considered, just overkil Featurewise and pricewise
for my requirements.

(See.. I didn't just dream it after all ;) )
