I am in a dilemma. I have been using a HP 10B original made in the USA for
about 12 years. Great calculator. I will be taking some finance courses at
a local graduate school in the fall and they insist on the 12C. I had found
a 12C a few years ago, used it a couple of months and sold it as I did not
like RPN. It as a good deal as it was an original made in the USA brand new
in the box (1980's vintage). Now I think I am forced to go out to find a
12C. I know that the calculators that HP makes are junk in terms of fit and
finish! What calculator would you folks recommend. I have used the 17BII
and 19BII but like I said the school is insisting on a 12C. Any idea where
I might find one of the original made in USA models new unused? I don't
want someone elses worn out calculator!!! Any ideas, advice would be
appreciated. Thanks.

The new 12c Plantinum has both RPN and Algebraic calculation capability. Go
to the HP website and find it...

If you change your mind about a used one, make me an offer on my very
nice HP12C. Comes with fake leather slip case and manual.
No other accessories.
Works great, I just need a calculator with HEX functions.
