Whereabouts in the Registry can I fix the problem of Windows Explorer defaulting to Icons?

I want to be able to default to Details. I know about the TOOLS - VIEW approach. All this does is set all my folders back to icons.

Please can anyone help me|?

use tools|folder options in WExplorer to set the view that you want and then reset all folders.

As I stated, I know about and have tried this approach many tims. It has worked in the past but now the vies will ALWAYS default to icons, even if I have set each folder individually.

Does any one know where in the Registry this default is stored?
