SSD - The Performance Upgrade of the Future
HI all, I am trying to install Windows XP on a new HDD in a laptop for my 10 year old son. When the disk starts to setup, after I see the "starting windows setup" on the bottom I get an error screen that says: STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0xF738E0BF, 0xF78DA208, 0xF78D9F08) pci.sys - address F748E0BF base at F7487000, datestamp 3b7d855c Any help would be appreciated, the HDD is brand new and nothing else was wrong with the laptop that I know of.
looks like a memory problem, but what are the specs on the laptop, 10 years old, does it meet min sys specs for XP?
Intel Core Pro Duo T7250 @ 2.00 GHz 2.00GHZ, 0.99 GB of RAM The old HDD had XP 2002 Professional on it
