Wireless N Router with both g and N receivers?

Hi. I am thinking about buying an N1 router. My question is would my brother, who is in range of our existing g standard router, still be able to connect at the same time as me? In other words can the router send out both forms at the same time?

Could you also rrecommend and good routers that fit my requirements?
