i had previously used my mobile phone as a modem thru bluetooth connection, but now, my laptop can't "find" it or any wireless device anymore. windows says my drivers are up to date. i'll appreciate any help.

is your bluetooth software turned on?
try updating the drivers for the bluetooth device

my bluetooth is already switch on, have tried uninstalling driver and reinstalling from website and shows it's running properly but still can't find any wireless device. i've been using it for sometime, but failed only recently.

have you tried a different portable device, other than your phone to connect?
maybe its the phone and not your computer. Try to eliminate all possibilities

Instead of relying on Acer's drivers, look for a driver from the chipset manufacturer and see if it helps.

Did you check in network connections to make sure your connection isn't disabled?

Can your notebook see any other networks? Your network card could be going bad.

UPDATE: i tried sending files from my phone to my laptop thru bluetooth and it was able to receive what i sent, but when i click "add wireless device" from my laptop it does'nt do anything, so i can't pair it with any wireless thru bluetooth. i've alrealy uninstalled and reinstalled/updated the bluetooth drivers.
