What wireless device specifically? Do you have the drivers installed?
i had previously used my mobile phone as a modem thru bluetooth connection, but now, my laptop can't "find" it or any wireless device anymore. windows says my drivers are up to date. i'll appreciate any help.
my bluetooth is already switch on, have tried uninstalling driver and reinstalling from website and shows it's running properly but still can't find any wireless device. i've been using it for sometime, but failed only recently.
have you tried a different portable device, other than your phone to connect?
maybe its the phone and not your computer. Try to eliminate all possibilities
as arges86 suggested, i tried other wireless device (nokia phones) but it can't be detected by my notebook, (acer aspire 2920Z) while the phones can find my computer but could not make a "pair". how could i resolve this? i'll appreciate any suggestions.
does anyone have any idea what's causing my notebook from finding wireless devices? does it have something to do with some windows updates? i need your help, please...

UPDATE: i tried sending files from my phone to my laptop thru bluetooth and it was able to receive what i sent, but when i click "add wireless device" from my laptop it does'nt do anything, so i can't pair it with any wireless thru bluetooth. i've alrealy uninstalled and reinstalled/updated the bluetooth drivers.
