Hi' everyone,
When I try to play music with a CD it doesn't work or read any disk most of
the time. I have Windows XP. I tried to update the driver but I get a
message saying that I have the best one, so I uninstall it in system
properties and reboot and it works for a little while but then it happens
again and won"t read. I put the disk in and I get the same message that the
driver is okay. Any suggestions or has my D drive had it.
thank you,
Casey.

Hi Casey,
Try a CD lens cleaner disk. You can commonly find these at most stores that
sell CD's. The lens may just be a bit clogged with dust and not getting a
good read on the disk.
