Hello there I'm a newbie who is looking for some help.

The begining:
I bought a new computer with the following specc August 2008.

I only have 2 problems.. BlueScreen of DEATH & My computer Freezes.

The first 2-3 months my computer was working 100%
But after that time 2 problems accured. Freeze and BS

I Played Crysis on Highest Settings with dx9 it was lagg free when i boosted my Graphic card with SmartDoctor and my processor & ram with AI suite

Freeze was the first problem to accure. Then came the BS. But when the BS came the freeze stoped accuring until now (with the new HDD now i have both)

I will post as much as possible on my computer so it can help you to HELP me :D

When i was using my first HDD:
I got Bluescreen when only Playing games.
I fixed my freezes with the following: Changed DRAM Voltage from auto to 1.6 in bios and
changed DRAM Frequency to 1333MHz in AI suite.

But 2 Things was off with these Settings.

Bios Settings: DRAM 1111Mhz, DRAM voltage 1.6
AI Suite shows me: DRAM 1333Mhz, and DRAM Voltage Auto.

Bios settings is telling me one thing and AI suite is telling me another Thing..
And i think thats a big problem. And have no idea how to fix it. I Unistall AI suite and started playing cs but i still got freezes.

My Current NEW HDD:
I'm getting freezes and Bluescreen Randomly, when im youtubing or playing CS.

---CASE---
Antec p190
One 650 Watt Neo Power is responsible for powering the motherboard and add-in cards, while another 550 Watt, handles your drives and other peripherals
so its 1200watt TOTAL.

---Processor---
Intel Quad Q9550 @ 2.83Ghz
(It's not overclocked Using Default settings on bios)

Using Noctua NH-c12P Premium CPU Cooler

---HDD---
My first HDD was Seagate 500gig 32mbCache but the circuit board got fried so i had to buy a new one for the time being. Still got warrenty wich i will use but first i will buy a new hdd and replace the circuit board to get my files.
My Current HDD Western Digital 500gig 32mbCache. (Bought and installed 2009/07/25)

---OS---
Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (5.2, Build 3790) with SP2

---Graphic Card---
Nvidia Series - EN9800GX2

I have downloaded both Asus's and Nvidia's latest graphic card Drivers with the same problem. Last Downloaded was 2009/07/27 so im up to date.

I'm Using Asus Smart doctor to provide me with the temperatures wich is:
GPU: 58-64c (When surfing the internet or watching movies)
RAM: 45-50c (Same as above)
----
GPU: 60-90c (Depends on the game but lets say CounterStrike Source its between 65-75celsius)
RAM: 50-60c (or more) but not over 70c or my smartdocter will start to give me Errors saying that its to warm.

Played the Game TRINE wich need physx's and had 85-92c

Utilities from Asus website for my Graphic card With the latest Drivers:
1. GamerOSD AP
2. ASUS SmartDoctor

NOTE: It's really warm at the end of the graphic card where the air is going out both under, over and both sides of the card. You wont burn your hand but it will maybe hurt you "MAY DIFFER if you like PAIN" :D
So my brother said that if core temp is lets say 72c but on other places of the card it's really warm and might be the problem.

If this is the MAIN problem then i will find a solution for it. And im open for sugestions.

---MotherBoard---
Model: P5E3 Deluxe
Current Bios version: 1409 (wich isn't the latest)

Drivers Installed:
1. ASUSUpdate
2. AI Direct Link
3. Intel(R) Matrix Storage Manager
4. Realtek(Ethernet)
5. Marvell(Ethernet) This i the only one i have used since the start.

---Memory---
Model- TW3X4G1333C9DHX
PC3-10666

I have noticed that my Motherboard is not listed wich indicates that my memory isn't compatible with my Motherboard.
But it works and did work 100% the first 2-3 months after that the problems started to pop up.

---NEC DVD RW---
NEC DVD RW nothing fancy.

---Sound---
Using The motherboard's sound with the SoundMAX HD Audio drivers.

---Mouse---
Microsoft Sidewinder (Without any drivers DRivers)

---Other Drivers---
1. Directx 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
2. Latest Java, flash & adobe.
3. Nvidia PhysX (9.09.0428)

---Other Tests
I tested my ram with memtest86 on a x64 bit OS and it worked only with the previous version..
I downloaded the latest driver and selected the 3 option when i was running it wich was to select a previous version.

The first option made my computer Restart itself after 30 seconds or so.
Second option (Multiple cores BETA)didn't even work.. My computer just stood still doing nothing. and the menu didn't work.

I only did 2 tests i did read that it needs atleast 7 runs but i will do it if its necessary if you guys think so.
The reason why i didn't do more tests is because i did run the program 1 time and used the computer as normal.. Music and CS nothing else.
Next day i started my computer and tested the MEmtest86 immedietly without trying to get into windows.
And when i was done i got (Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key) and thats when my brother find white dots on the circuit board wich indikates that it fried. bahaha damn seagate. its not even 1 year old.

FOund the MAIN problem and fixed it.. This guide is for people with ASUS Drivers.

Here's what I did to fix it:
Desktop-> Properties-> Settings-> Advanced-> ASUS
Disable ASUS OSD, and ASUS Splendid. And it should work for you.

SUcks that no one could help me but that's how it goes sometimes.
