I have a dell computer yestersday it was starting to have problemslastnight it was shut down.now it is completely shut down I keep on receiving errorss Stop oxoooooooed I am in schooland need my computer. When I start the computer it goes to Media direct I haveainspiron 1525

If the message 'Unmountable boot volume' is displayed, the chances of the hard drive failing and needing to be replaced are most likely.

If you have a Vista installation disk, try booting the system to the disk and repairing the system boot files. If that doesn't work, likely a bad hard drive. More likely the former and specifically the HD's controller.
