I currently have a BFG 7600GT and I am looking to upgrade to a BFG 7950GT
256mb (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)
and a relatively small rosewill case (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E1681...)
will this card fit? how much bigger is the 7950 than the 7600? (its not listed in the newegg specs or on the BFG site)

Price is good.
i would get the 8800GTS 320MB ACS3 eVGA personaly.
For $130. more but thats me.
Also the 8800GTS ACS3 verson kicks the 7950's but and Its DX10 for
Vista when you get it.

I'm not trying to be rude, but he wasn't asking about a 8800GTS 320MB, he was asking if a 7950GT would fit in his case. Besides, as tests are already showing, as it stands now the current generation of cards won't be powerful enough to exploit all of DX10's features, so your point about that is pretty much irrelevant. An example would be to try running a 6800 Ultra (first generation SM3 hardware) in STALKER with the details cranked and you get the picture.

Anyways, back to your question, "winrawr", the 7900/7950 cards are 7 1/2" long, an extra inch over your 7600GT, so you shouldn't have too much problem.

A buddy has a micro case an his fits snug but fits...gl :D  ...as for your sugestion about the 8800gts,I'm afraid your going to be correct.I almost went out on a limb and bought one,but when the games come out that go with a dx10 process card of the now aren't gonna make them bark....But I'm for certain that they will have one out for a cool grand that will give you the eye candy your joans'n 4...lol...we're just all taken for a ride on the cash strip by marketing and empty promises, what ever happen to the so called doubled performance sli setup used to boast on in the early days...get off the ride while your wallets still semi fat is what I'm thinkin,7900 and 7950's r cheap...sounds like someone using their head.
