I have a Targa PC running on Windows XP. It had 2 X 512 Mb RAM. A further 1 Gig Ram was fitted, at the same time I clean installed windows Vista Home Premium. My pc now shows me to have 9 Gig of Ram. Any clues why this should be.

You probaby have an 8GB memory stick connected that Vista decided to use for Speedboost.
