Video capture and editing

Hello, people! I am getting into posting videos on Youtube, so I need a better way of capturing video... I am currently using Xfire, but it isn't the best... I have Windows 7 64 bit, and I want free stuff! I looked on Cnet and I couldn't find anything.... the game I am capturing in is Bad company 2 DX11.... (if you know of a good editing software, too... it'd be awesome!). I don't want to spend any money on this (I know I will eventually...)

I use CamStudio by RenderSoft for vid capture.
I use Avidemux for editing (simply cutting and joining).
    Both are open source freeware.
I dont know if they run on Win7.
Great for recording Netflix movies by the way.

freewarefiles.com and majorgeeks.com are great freeware sources.
very few viruses though make sure you scan your downloads.
  5. Yeah I always do, they go on a computer I reformat once a week, then I just scan them
